An outstanding opportunity exists for a communications professional to join our growing Melbourne office.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive who is driven by results, possesses a 'can-do' attitude, utilises initiative to make the most of opportunities and works well in a team.
With an emphasis on leveraging Edelman’s intellectual property, the role will comprise activity across stakeholder engagement, consumer PR, employee engagement and issues and crisis management.
Reporting to senior management, you will be hands-on and involved in the development and implementation of strategy across a range of blue-chip clients. You will be responsible for:
- Working with the senior team to help develop multi-channel strategies across new and existing clients
- Managing tactical elements of strategy including media relations, coordination of speaking engagements, event management
- Proactively identifying opportunities for clients and assisting with pitch development and presentation
- Developing collateral including media releases, speeches and briefings
- Developing internal and external engagement opportunities
Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in communications with 3-5 years PR experience as a consultant or ‘in-house’ communications executive.
