Edelman is able to assist clients to translate priority stakeholder information into a user-friendly database system called The Edelman Connector, that drives and monitors the progress of stakeholder engagement programs.
Edelman uses Connector with clients who have multiple stakeholder managers needing to quickly access information about various influencers/organisations and interrogate the data across multiple different fields. The customised database allows us to capture detailed information about influential organisations and people including:

• Affiliations
• Latest ventures
• Industry and specialty
• Photos
• Relationship with the client
• Relationship history of latest contacts, who made them and actions outstanding
The Edelman Connector is based on CRM (customer relationship management) software and has been used extensively for clients when many people internally must work together on a co-ordinated campaign or program. It is easily scaleable and can be customised to a client’s needs, and can be used for multinational campaigns where the ability to track multiple stakeholder interactions and contacts is important alongside an excellent co-ordination, management and reporting capability.
Since the software is web-based, users can access Connector from any computer at any time in a password protected environment. It is designed to work with Excel and it is easy to import and export data. The web-linkage allows for information to be easily hyperlinked internally and to websites like Google, so information is more readily available and easy to access for multiple users in different locations if necessary.
The software can create various tailored reports and graphs based on the information within the system, ideal for management presentations and email updates with up to date information.
